Tom Thorum

Tom has been teaching private lessons for over 30 years.  Tom’s ‘eye’ for swimming technique and ability to communicate swimming corrections is unparalleled.  Tom has provided Private Coaching and Instruction to one National Age Group Record holder, two Olympic Trials Swimmers, one US Open Qualifier, several Junior National Qualifiers, one Ironman World Record holder, multiple D1 college swimmers, and hundreds of novice swimmers young and old. 


Zofi Peacock

With years of experience as both an elite athlete and dedicated coach, Zofi brings expertise, passion, and results to every swim lesson. She offers a unique blend of technical knowledge and real-world experience. Zofi has coached swimmers to state cuts, college scholarships, and even national-level success — but her true passion lies in helping each individual unlock their full potential, no matter their starting point.

Whether your swimmer is just learning to float or pushing toward elite competition, Zofi’s personalized, technique-driven approach ensures progress, confidence, and a love for the sport that lasts a lifetime.

JORDAN MEACHAM

Assistant Coach

Jordan is originally from Australia and has a strong background in competitive swimming. He has competed at the Australian Olympic Trials twice and swam at the NCAA level while representing the University of Hawai‘i for four years on its Division I swim team. Jordan has experience at the international and collegiate levels and has a deep love for the sport, both as an athlete and as a mentor. He is passionate about sharing that knowledge and energy with younger athletes, and is currently working with the 11–12 age group, helping them develop strong skills, discipline, and a lifelong enjoyment of swimming.

Christy kallay

Assistant Coach

Christy Kallay began coaching for Omega Aquatics in April 2024. Previously, she was the Lead Assistant Coach at Duneland Swim Club in Chesterton, Indiana, spanning from 2011 to 2020. She also served as an Assistant Coach for Chesterton High School Boy’s and Girl’s Swimming and Diving during the 2019-2020 and 2020-21 seasons. After relocating to Utah, she coached for Park City Swimming from 2021 to 2024. She also found another close to her heart job, working as a receptionist at VCA Willow Creek Pet Center, where she gets to spend lots of time with precious animals and their owners. Christy pursued studies in Psychology and Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, and spent 12 years as an Instructional Aide at Jackson Elementary within the Duneland School Corporation, focusing on students from kindergarten to second grade. She finds immense satisfaction in assisting children in both their swimming journey and academic growth. Christy's own swimming career commenced at age 11 with the Sullair Piranhas Swim Club, extending through her high school years in Michigan City, IN. Reflecting on her experience, she underscores the enduring friendships and familial bonds forged within the swimming community, which also instilled discipline during pivotal moments in her life. During her tenure at Duneland Swim Club and Chesterton High School, she earned consecutive Indiana Swimming Developmental Coach of the Year titles in 2017 and 2018. She draws inspiration from esteemed mentors, who have garnered numerous awards in coaching. Under her guidance, Duneland Swim Club consistently ranked within the top 10 in the state over the past decade, achieving a notable runner-up finish in 2019. Currently residing in Midvale, UT with her husband Bob, Christy cherishes her close relationship with her two children, Lauryn and Bobby, who have been actively involved in swimming from a young age. She enjoys the beauty and outdoors often with running, hiking, and skiing.  Her aspiration is to impart onto other children the invaluable experiences she and her own children have been fortunate to enjoy, prioritizing self-belief and daily laughter.

Liz is a passionate and energetic swim coach with years of experience helping young swimmers grow in skill and confidence. Specializing in technique development for young swimmers, Liz has a talent for breaking down complex movements into fun, achievable steps. Whether she’s guiding brand-new swimmers or coaching kids to take their skills to the next level, Liz brings positivity, patience, and insight to every lesson. Her goal is to build strong, confident swimmers who love the water as much as she does.
